How long are your culinary experiences and how do I know which one to choose?

We currently offer five different experiences.:

10 minute “10 for $10” Cooking Lesson: In these ten minute video chats, our chefs can look inside your fridge and create a recipe, build a shopping list for the week or teach you a quick technique! Want something else? Just ask! Our chefs are on call and ready to help.

30 minute “Quickfire” Cooking Lesson: Select one of three entrees from your chef’s menu and get ready to prepare something delicious and worthy of “The Gram.” Check chefs’ bios for their menus.

90+ minute “Culinary Experiences”: In these immersive Culinary Experiences, your chefs will guide you through the creation of one main dish and two side dishes.

45 minute “Kids Classes.” Information can be found here.

60-90 minute “Seasonal Group Classes”. More info can be found here.

How do I schedule my own personal, live virtual cooking lesson?

Once you decide which chef and lesson you would like to book, click the “Dine With” button on the chef’s page. This will allow you to look at their availability and book your appointment with them.

How much does each lesson cost?

Each lesson is private, personal and customized for you. The chefs set their own prices, so please click the chefs’ “Dine With” buttons for their pricing.

Are the lessons open to the public? Will there be people I don’t know taking them with me?

No, these are private lessons exclusively for you and the people you invite to join. Once you book your lesson, you’ll receive a confirmation email which includes a link to the chef’s private video conferencing room. This is where you’ll go on the day/time of your lesson.

We do, however, offer larger moderated seasonal group classes which are open to the public. These are demonstration format, so you can see the chef but you won’t be able to see the others joining you. You will be able to ask the chef questions through the chat.

How many people can join a private cooking lesson?

- “10 for $10” private lesson is for one person.

- “Quickfire 30 minute lesson is for up to two people.

- "90+ minute “Culinary Experiences” and “Kids Classes” include up to four “screens” with an option to add up to two more “screens” at an additional cost.

A “screen” is one window/box inside our video conferencing platform and you can have multiple people inside one screen during your 90 minute Culinary Experience and Kids Class. Our Quickfire lesson is for up to two people, so you can either have two screens with one person in each or one screen with two people.
